A Thankful Woman's Book of Blessings

My dear blogging friend, Judy, over at A Thankful Woman's Book of Blessings, hosts this meme every Wednesday. Simply list five things (or a prayer or any thoughts) for which you are truly thankful this week. Voicing my thanks helps put my life in perspective & realize that, no matter how bad things might be, there is still MUCH good surrounding me.

1) I'm thankful
for an incredible weekend in Hocking Hills w/ my dear friends...lots of laughter, & tears. This was our best year & also our most emotional. We shared a lot of our current struggles, supporting one another & praying together.

2) I'm thankful Casinodad & the munchkins had a great weekend while I was away.

3) I'm thankful for the wonderful chat last night on Judy's Homeschool Faith & Family Life Facebook page. Some many great women sharing their thoughts, ideas, & prayers with one another...along w/ a few awesome giveaways!

4) I'm thankful for the cup of tea The Prophet made for me last night while I was participating in the chat last night. He chose Madagascar Vanilla by Celestial Seasonings & it was delicious!

5)
I'm thankful The Saint slept through both rounds of storms last night. Usually he ends up in bed w/ us, but I heard not a peep from him!

I can totally relate to #5. Joey joined in around 5 am, when Jeff is getting up to go to work. After having a bed wetting episode I dealt with at 2 am...I'm glad I got a little sleep in between that! :)

Yay for sound sleepers!
I am so glad that you were at our Facebook party and that you were able to enjoy a good cup of tea, thanks to your loving son! Having encouragement and friendships is a blessing that I have come to appreciate more and more as years go on. I am so happy that God has blessed you with both!
