A Thankful Woman's Book of Blessings

My dear blogging friend, Judy, over at A Thankful Woman's Book of Blessings, hosts this meme every Wednesday. Simply list five things (or a prayer or any thoughts) for which you are truly thankful this week. Voicing my thanks helps put my life in perspective & realize that, no matter how bad things might be, there is still MUCH good surrounding me.

1) I'm thankful my dad was well enough to come home from the hospital after only one day & hoping that the medicine change will help his atrial fibrillation.

2) I'm thankful for the beautiful flowers & boxwood plants Casinodad bought me for Mothers' Day.

3) I'm thankful that I survived the facet joint injections I had on my back last Friday...that is after passing out & getting sick on the way home. And, I get to do it all again on May 23!

4) I'm thankful for three beautiful days in a row w/ no rain! The munchkins have spent many hours over the past few days outside & I got all my flowers planted.

5) I'm thankful that The Archangel will be receiving Jesus in his First Holy Communion this coming Sunday! He is very excited.

Glad to hear your dad is home! Enjoy the beautiful weather - we definately are! Can you come up to Marion and plant my flowers/garden - I do not like that part of it.
