The Simple Woman's Daybook

Peggy hosts this each meme each week & you can read other Daybook's HERE.

FOR TODAY
Outside my window...cloudy & rainy - no surprise there!

I am thinking...of how good my pillow will feel in just a couple hours - I'm VERY tired today!

I am thankful...that The Archangel was able to receive Jesus for the first time yesterday at his First Holy Communion.

From the learning rooms...tests were mailed back to Seton this morning, several subjects already finished - I think I'm more ready for the school year to be over than the munchkins.

From the kitchen...bedtime snack just finished, Casinodad's lunch for tomorrow mostly packed, & a pile of dishes waiting to be put in the dishwasher once the clean ones are put away.

I am wearing...my jammies - a light blue, long-sleeved cotton top, light blue, lavender, & purple checked flannel pants, lavender fuzzy socks.

I am creating...a mental plan for decluttering our home!

I am going...to bed in a couple of hours.

I am reading...The Rosewood Casket by Sharyn McCrumb, Beyond the Birds and the Bees by Gregory Popcak, & The Imitation of Christ.

I am hoping...for back relief - STILL. I go back on on Monday for another round of the facet joint injections. Hopefully I won't pass out this time!

I am hearing...the munchkins playing around - even though they are supposed to be calming down for bedtime soon.

Around the house...not in bad shape - we had company over yesterday to celebrate The Archangel's First Communion & it's still looking pretty good.

One of my favorite things...books!

A few plans for the rest of the week...The Archangel's yearly doctor appt., speech therapy for The Archangel, Mom Therapy w/ my dear friend & her kids (they've been out of town for a few weeks, so we've REALLY missed them!), & a Confirmation retreat w/ my BFF's daughter who I am sponsoring

Here is picture for thought I am sharing...Daddy's Little Princess
