FOR TODAY

Outside my window...a beautiful sunny day & HOT, HOT, HOT!

I am thinking...of how blessed I am to have four beautiful children & a wonderful husband.

I am thankful...for all my parents have done for me & taught me over the years.

From the learning rooms...taking a book trip to Europe & Africa to finish up our continent study from this past school year - STILL

From the kitchen...just simple pasta for dinner this evening

I am wearing...denim capris, yellow knit top, & barefeet

I am creating...a home of peace & simplicity.

I am going...to continue working through the 31 Days to Clean - Having a Martha House the Mary Way. I'm still on the kitchen, but I'm taking my time to make sure all is clean & decluttered.

I am reading...The Silent Governess by Julie Klassen, Wholly Mary by Chris Padgett (my newest review for The Catholic Company), & The Imitation of Christ.

I am hoping...for peace, simplicity, & much less bickering in our house.

I am hearing...Star Wars: The Clone Wars DVD & the hum of the refrigerator.

Around the house...as I mentioned above, I'm still working through 31 Days to Clean - Having a Martha House the Mary Way. At the rate I'm going, it may be closer to 100 days, but I WILL have a clean, organized home!

One of my favorite things...a clutter-free home (which is a LONG way off for me, but definitely a goal to work towards!)

A few plans for the rest of the week..."Mom Therapy" on Wed.; some summertime school work; grocery shopping; a trip to Staples (they've have some penny & quarter deals this week)
