Sherry, at Chocolate for Your Brain, hosts Small Successes each Thursday. Check it out to see others' successes & share your own. Recognizing the small things we accomplish each week helps us realize that even when it doesn't seem like it, we are getting things done!
1) I ventured where no one has gone in a long, long, LONG time...under our bed! While rotating the mattress & putting a fitted sheet on the box springs (we don't have a bed skirt & the blue flowered springs don't match our room), I decided to attack the dust bunnies. Little did I know that they had evolved into dust jackalopes! But, I survived & lived to tell about it!
2) I went grocery shopping & only bought what I needed.
3) As much as I would rather burrow further under my covers in the morning (esp. w/ these cooler mornings lately), I've been getting up when Casinodad does (about 6am) to read the day's readings & a couple of devotional books. It is SO tough at times, but it really helps me throughout the rest of the day.
NEW FEATURE: Add a goal for the upcoming week & report the results in the next round of Small Successes.
Last Week's Goal...I'd like to get my clothes closet in our bedroom cleaned out. (OK...I've STILL not done this one.)
This Week's Goal...Try once again - I'd like to get my clothes closet in our bedroom cleaned out.

Wow. I am terrified of under my bed! That is a huge success!
I can relate to #2! Unfortunately I'm not as restrained as you and so very, very rarely accomplish it. Keep up the good work and keep reading those devotionals - they can really. change your outlook on the day.
