Colleen, from her inspiring blog Thoughts on Grace, hosts this wonderful meme each Wednesday. She says, "Deo Gratias is Latin for Thanks be to God. Remembering to give thanks for all of our blessings, big & small, helps us to find God in our everyday moments and gives us an attitude of gratitude!"

Each week, I join Colleen in remembering & sharing the many blessings in my life. This is such a great exercise for me, helping me to focus on the good that truly is happening in my life, no matter how many trials & stresses I may have.

1) One of the receptionists at work put in her two week notice. Because she's leaving, I will be able to double my hours, picking up a few of her shifts. This will be great for us, esp. as we go into the holidays. Deo Gratias! 

2) After Mass on Sunday, my parents took Matt & me out for coffee at a local coffee house. We enjoyed our coffees & the time spent w/ them. Deo Gratias! 

3) Yesterday, my dear "Mom Therapy" friend & her kids came over for a few hours. It had been a while, so we had a lot of catching up to do. It's wonderful to have her friendship! Deo Gratias! 

4) We finally have Matt's car back! Deo Gratias! 

5) The Saint had a much better day at PSR on Sunday than last week. When we picked him up, his teacher gave me a big thumbs-up & said he did great. Deo Gratias!
