Light in the Darkness

Welcome to my Light in the Darkness meme! (If you missed my post on the inspiration for this meme, you can read all about it HERE.)

This is the place to share good things that are happening in our world...whether it's a link to a news article/video, something from your personal experience...anything good that can bring light into darkness!

So, did you take up my challenge last week to try a Random Act of Kindness? I was given several opportunities to allow other drivers to go ahead of me. Also, at Aldi, the lady behind me only had a few items, so I let her go ahead of me.

This week, I'm sharing the following rescue story...

What a great story. I love when people say that some kind of training, if it hasn't landed the person a job yet, is "all for naught" because only God knows the plans He has for each of us and if this landscaper had passed that EMT exam, he would not have been next door but if he hadn't had the initial training, he would not have been able to save this child. So beautiful!

Amen to what Kristen said! great story. Brought tears to my eyes.

I was a recipient of an act of random kindness. Someone let me in front of them in line at the store. I was limping with a bad knee, and I had 2 things in my hand to buy and she had a cartful. She let me in! God bless her!
