Sherry, at Chocolate for Your Brain, hosts Small Successes each Thursday. Check it out to see others' successes & share your own. Recognizing the small things we accomplish each week helps us realize that even when it doesn't seem like it, we are getting things done!
1) Now that I've turned 40, I called & made the appointment for my first mammogram...YAY!
2) I tried out a few new veggie recipes that ended up being a hit, especially w/ The Prophet. I made roasted brussel sprouts & kale chips. I'll share the recipes for tomorrow's edition of "Friday's Fare."
3) In an effort to get the munchkins helping out a bit more around the house, I've added another aspect to the daily dishwasher unloading schedule. Now, the child who unloads the top has to clear the table after meals, the child who unloads the bottom has to sweep the kitchen floor after meals, & the child who unloads the silverware has to set the table. This way there are no more arguments as to whose turn it is.
