A Thankful Woman's Book of Blessings

My dear blogging friend, Judy, over at A Thankful Woman's Book of Blessings, hosts this meme every Wednesday. Simply list five things (or a prayer or any thoughts) for which you are truly thankful this week. Voicing my thanks helps put my life in perspective & realize that, no matter how bad things might be, there is still MUCH good surrounding me.

1) While I am thankful that we did not receive any of the bad weather that was predicted for last week, I pray for those who endured tornadoes & other damaging storms, losing homes & lives.

2) While I am thankful that Casinodad & I have jobs, I pray for those currently out of work or in danger of losing their jobs.

3) While I am thankful for my Faith, I pray for those who are either returning to the Catholic Church or are entering for the first time this coming Easter.

4) While I am thankful for our family's health, I pray for those suffering physically, mentally, & spiritually.

5) While I am thankful for my right to vote, I pray for those who are oppressed & are not allowed a say in their country's leadership.

I love this list and am so grateful for the beautiful prayers you included. What a wonderful reminder to not only be thankful for or blessings but to pray for those in need. Thanks for joining me each week!
