Deo Gratias

"If the only prayer you ever say in your life is thank you, it will be enough." - Meister Eckhart

Colleen, from her inspiring blog Thoughts on Grace, hosts this wonderful meme each Wednesday. She says, "Deo Gratias is Latin for Thanks be to God. Remembering to give thanks for all of our blessings, big & small, helps us to find God in our everyday moments and gives us an attitude of gratitude!"

Each week, I join Colleen in remembering & sharing the many blessings in my life. This is such a great exercise for me, helping me to focus on the good that truly is happening in my life, no matter how many trials & stresses I may have.
1) After having the paint since Fall, the weather was finally cooperative enough for me to paint the living & kitchen ceilings, as well as the living room walls. Deo Gratias!

2) I let go of a little control & allowed the Blessings to help me paint some. They did a great job. Deo Gratias!

3) In addition to the new paint color in the living room, I wanted a new arrangement for the furniture but just couldn't figure out what to do. HelpfulGrammy came over Monday morning & between the two of us, we came up w/ a great arrangement! Deo Gratias!

4) Even with the rain we've had, our weather the past couple weeks has been wonderful...esp. after the harsh winter we had. Deo Gratias!

5) Some of the seeds I planted a couple weeks ago have started sprouting. I'm hoping for a great garden this year! Deo Gratias!

Spring is here!!
Awesome you got the painting done, with a little help! My mom used to change rooms around when I was growing up. Your post brought back some memories of that and my boys "helping" us paint!

Sounds like your house is ready for Spring! You'll have to show some pics someday. I hope the Blessings are doing well. Sorry I haven't been blogging too much lately. I miss you guys!
