Deo Gratias

"If the only prayer you ever say in your life is thank you, it will be enough." - Meister Eckhart

Colleen, from her inspiring blog Thoughts on Grace, hosts this wonderful meme each Wednesday. She says, "Deo Gratias is Latin for Thanks be to God. Remembering to give thanks for all of our blessings, big & small, helps us to find God in our everyday moments and gives us an attitude of gratitude!"

Each week, I join Colleen in remembering & sharing the many blessings in my life. This is such a great exercise for me, helping me to focus on the good that truly is happening in my life, no matter how many trials & stresses I may have.
1) We are in the midst of the February Thaw! I haven't checked the weather for next week, but I'm enjoying the warmer temps this week. It's funny when you get to the normal temps for the month & they feel like a heat wave! Deo Gratias!

2) After many weeks of having to cancel due to illnesses, my surgery, &/or the weather, my dear friend & I finally got together yesterday w/ our kids for "Mom Therapy" & Lego time for the kids. Deo Gratias!

3) We've recently joined w/ some families from our church for monthly rosary gatherings. It's family-oriented, so all of our kids participate, too. It's great to share our Faith w/ one another. Deo Gratias!

4) Our income tax refund came in & it feels great to be able to finally pay off some bills. Deo Gratias!

5) The Prophet & I had a great conversation the other night. We discussed some of his reading for school & some ideas for our next school year. He really has developed some great thoughts & insights. Deo Gratias!

Glad you got to have some Mom Therapy!
And pay off bills too. Awesome. I have not done my taxes yet. I had better get going.
The Prophet is growing up eh? I remember conversations like that with my sons. Loved that. Still do. :)
Thanks for joining me in this meme!
