Sherry, at Chocolate for Your Brain, hosts Small Successes each Thursday. Check it out to see others' successes & share your own. Recognizing the small things we accomplish each week helps us realize that even when it doesn't seem like it, we are getting things done!
1) I actually made use of our Thanksgiving leftovers this year instead of just letting them sit in the fridge until it was time to toss them. I made Turkey Tetrazzini, Turkey Noodle Casserole (w/ Amish noodles), & a delicious ham/potato soup.
2) Thanks to the Holy Spirit, I was able to comfort one of the residents at the nursing home where I am a receptionist. Her husband passed away in October & his birthday was last week.
3) After the inventory of the freezer & cabinets I did recently, I went on a big grocery shopping trip to stock up on a bunch of things. Our basement shelves look quite nice right now!
Last Week's Goal...Get the house in order for Thanksgiving Day. We are hosting my in-laws this year. (Accomplished, thanks to Casinodad & the munchkins!)
This Week's Goal...Start getting some of our Christmas decorations out. I'm not really feeling the season yet, so hopefully that will help some.

Since I posted my list (about one box of Christmas) I've opened the others. Everything except the tree ornaments are out....now to the organizing...and God Bless you for being able to enlist the Holy Spirit to help you comfort that woman.
