"If the only prayer you ever say in your life is thank you, it will be enough." - Meister Eckhart

Colleen, from her inspiring blog Thoughts on Grace, hosts this wonderful meme each Wednesday. She says, "Deo Gratias is Latin for Thanks be to God. Remembering to give thanks for all of our blessings, big & small, helps us to find God in our everyday moments and gives us an attitude of gratitude!"

Each week, I join Colleen in remembering & sharing the many blessings in my life. This is such a great exercise for me, helping me to focus on the good that truly is happening in my life, no matter how many trials & stresses I may have.
**********
1) For the beauty of Christmas music...Our church choir has been busy preparing for Christmas Eve. I'm so blessed to be part of such a wonderful group of talented musicians. Deo Gratias!

2) Watching Christmas movies w/ my family. Last week, we watched The Christmas Candle, based on the book by Max Lucado. Deo Gratias!

3) Decorating for Christmas...Each day, I've been adding a bit more to our home's decor. Deo Gratias!

4) Christmas books...I love reading different Christmas stories, both to the kids & those for myself. I've found some great ones for free on Amazon to put on my Kindle.  Deo Gratias!

5) Gift giving...I love shopping for & wrapping gifts. Our church has a giving tree for needy families. This year, in addition to the one our family purchases, The Prophet chose a tag & used some of his own money to purchase a gift for a needy child. Deo Gratias!
