Deo Gratias

"If the only prayer you ever say in your life is thank you, it will be enough." - Meister Eckhart

Colleen, from her inspiring blog Thoughts on Grace, hosts this wonderful meme each Wednesday. She says, "Deo Gratias is Latin for Thanks be to God. Remembering to give thanks for all of our blessings, big & small, helps us to find God in our everyday moments and gives us an attitude of gratitude!"

Each week, I join Colleen in remembering & sharing the many blessings in my life. This is such a great exercise for me, helping me to focus on the good that truly is happening in my life, no matter how many trials & stresses I may have.
1) I just had my annual weekend trip to Hocking Hills w/ my girlfriends. What a great weekend...lots of laughter, tears, food, prayer, & more! Deo Gratias!

2) I came home to all the kids & the house in one piece, but never doubted for a moment about their care. Matt is a wonderful day & I am blessed that he gives me this weekend away. Deo Gratias!

3) During my prayer time Sat. morning on our trip, I had a wonderful experience w/ the Holy Spirit. Deo Gratias!

4) I returned from my weekend & The Princess shared that our garden already has about 16 plants sprouting. So far, so good! Deo Gratias!

5) Last week, I shared that I was able to review a book for Ignatius Press Novels. Because of my review, I was asked if I was interested in another. I feel honored! Deo Gratias!

#5 is awesome. Your hubby is also awesome. My husband used to tell me, when I went off on retreat for a week and he had to stay home with the kids, that the graces I received I would bring back to the family. So he always supported my taking that time. Your weekend with the girls sounded great.
God bless!
