Colleen, from her inspiring blog Thoughts on Grace, hosts this wonderful meme each Wednesday. She says, "Deo Gratias is Latin for Thanks be to God. Remembering to give thanks for all of our blessings, big & small, helps us to find God in our everyday moments and gives us an attitude of gratitude!"
Each week, I join Colleen in remembering & sharing the many blessings in my life. This is such a great exercise for me, helping me to focus on the good that truly is happening in my life, no matter how many trials & stresses I may have.
2) After Mass, we headed to my SIL's for brunch. We had great food & a pleasant time. The boys took their instruments & gave a short concert. Deo Gratias!
3) Next stop was my parents' home for dinner. Another pleasant visit, great food, & the boys again gave a little concert. Deo Gratias!
4) Yesterday, we joined other families from the boys' homeschool band on a field trip to OSU for their Celebration Concert...bands, choirs, & ensembles performing a variety of music. What a great concert! Deo Gratias!
5) I'm trying to find peace this Advent season & not stress as much as I usually do. I'm not going to feel guilty for saying no to extras that may detract from the true meaning of Advent & Christmas. So far, so good! Deo Gratias!
