Each week, I join Colleen in remembering & sharing the many blessings in my life. This is such a great exercise for me, helping me to focus on the good that truly is happening in my life, no matter how many trials & stresses I may have.

1) Matt & I took a belated 15th anniversary trip last week. We spent two & a half days in a cabin in the woods of Hocking Hills, hiked, shopped, soaked in the hot tub, & just enjoyed each other's company. What a great time! Deo Gratias!

2) While we could really use some rain, I have to say the weather the past couple weeks has been beautiful...sunny skies, fall temperatures, just beautiful! Deo Gratias!   

3) My aunt (HandyGramps' sister) & uncle were in town visiting for a few days. It was fun to catch up w/ them, play some dice games, & share old stories. Deo Gratias! 

4) I gave The Princess some material that I didn't need anymore. Last night, she handed me a pillowcase she's made for me out of it. She's so creative! Deo Gratias! 

5) Speaking of The Princess, ever since Matt & I returned from our trip last Thursday, she & The Prophet have been getting along quite well. This is a huge change since his normal attitude towards her is usually not a nice one. Deo Gratias!
