Exploding Turkeys!

Last Friday, Casinodad came home from work w/ an 11 lb. turkey. One of the ladies he works w/ had given it to him (her mother was cleaning out her freezer). Since it had already started to thaw some, we decided to invite out parents over for dinner on Sunday. We made a few stops on the way home from church, but I told the kids we needed to hurry so I could get the turkey into the oven. The Princess spoke up & said, "So it can 'splode?" (explode) I said no, then The Prophet explained that she was talking about the poem that went around at Thanksgiving time about the turkey exploding all over the kitchen because it had been stuffed w/ unpopped popcorn.

After the turkey was done & cooling on the stove, The Princess came over & asked it I would put popcorn in it the next time. She really wanted a messy kitchen!
