This week, I'm celebrating family for "Light in the Darkness"...

St. John Paul II once said, "As the family goes, so goes the nation and so goes the world in which we live." I think that is so true! 

Last weekend, we had a reunion on HandyGramps' paternal side. This was the first in at least 25 years. This shot doesn't include the almost 90 people in attendance.

Yesterday, we celebrated HelpfulGrammy's maternal side. It was a much smaller group than the previous weekend's reunion, but no less short on love & laughter. 

 

The smiles & laughter on our faces in the 2nd photo are due to my cousin's 2 yo boy. After one cousin got his tripod set up & the time on for the photo, he joined us. However, my cousin's little guy decided to investigate the flashing light & handle the camera himself. Just as he reached the camera, we laughed & the photo was taken!
