"If the only prayer you ever say in your life is thank you, it will be enough." - Meister Eckhart

Colleen, from her inspiring blog Thoughts on Grace, hosts this wonderful meme each Wednesday. She says, "Deo Gratias is Latin for Thanks be to God. Remembering to give thanks for all of our blessings, big & small, helps us to find God in our everyday moments and gives us an attitude of gratitude!"

Each week, I join Colleen in remembering & sharing the many blessings in my life. This is such a great exercise for me, helping me to focus on the good that truly is happening in my life, no matter how many trials & stresses I may have.
**********
A Day late, but it's never too late to be thankful!

1) We've been planting a lot of flowers lately. It really helps the look of our house from the outside. Deo Gratias!

2) Our neighbor came over last Sunday & gave us a bunch of perennials that she needed to thin out. She even helped plant them. It really made a difference on one side of our house that always seems to be the last I get to. Deo Gratias!

3) Other neighbors invited us over for a cookout on Memorial Day. Great food, lots of laughter, & an overall fun time! Deo Gratias!

4) In addition to all the outdoor planting, Matt painted the frame around our front door. It's amazing how just a coat of fresh paint can really spruce up an area! Deo Gratias!

5) In honor of Memorial Day this past Monday, I am thankful for all the men & women who have given their lives over the years for our country. God Bless them! Deo Gratias!
