"If the only prayer you ever say in your life is thank you, it will be enough." - Meister Eckhart

Colleen, from her inspiring blog Thoughts on Grace, hosts this wonderful meme each Wednesday. She says, "Deo Gratias is Latin for Thanks be to God. Remembering to give thanks for all of our blessings, big & small, helps us to find God in our everyday moments and gives us an attitude of gratitude!"

Each week, I join Colleen in remembering & sharing the many blessings in my life. This is such a great exercise for me, helping me to focus on the good that truly is happening in my life, no matter how many trials & stresses I may have.
**********
1) Being a part of our church choir, I participated in all the Holy Week Masses. What wonderful memorials of Christ's death & resurrection! Deo Gratias!

2) Our pastor is retiring this summer. His wonderful Holy Thursday homily brought many of us to tears! Deo Gratias!

3) The high I get from singing in our church choir. After the Easter Vigil, I was so full of joy & faith, that I had trouble falling asleep until after 1am. Deo Gratias!

4) Decluttering...I've been going through old files of ours & shredding them. So far, I've condensed two banker's boxes into less than one & still have another box to go. Deo Gratias!

5) After two weeks off of school, we had a successful first day back yesterday! Deo Gratias!
