"If the only prayer you ever say in your life is thank you, it will be enough." - Meister Eckhart

Colleen, from her inspiring blog Thoughts on Grace, hosts this wonderful meme each Wednesday. She says, "Deo Gratias is Latin for Thanks be to God. Remembering to give thanks for all of our blessings, big & small, helps us to find God in our everyday moments and gives us an attitude of gratitude!"

Each week, I join Colleen in remembering & sharing the many blessings in my life. This is such a great exercise for me, helping me to focus on the good that truly is happening in my life, no matter how many trials & stresses I may have.
**********
1) The Princess & I both celebrated our birthdays last week. I can't believe she's now ten years old! On Sunday, we had a tea party for her birthday, inviting a couple of her friends & the ladies in our family. Deo Gratias!

2) Despite all the snow & cold weather we've had in the past couple months (& the possibility of another snowstorm later today), I actually heard a spring bird this morning! What a welcome sound! Deo Gratias!

3) I had a wonderful afternoon of "Mom Therapy" yesterday...drinking coffee & chatting w/ my dear friend while our kids hung out together. Deo Gratias!

4) Monday's weather was a little warmer, so the Blessings & their cousins hung out at HelpfulGrammy's to go sledding. Deo Gratias!

5) I came across this quote this morning, perfect timing after being asked to pray for a dear friend of ours:
"To pray for one another is, first of all, to acknowledge, in the presence of God, that we belong to each other as children of the same God." (Henri J.M. Nouwen)
What a great quote! Deo Gratias!
