"If the only prayer you ever say in your life is thank you, it will be enough." - Meister Eckhart

Colleen, from her inspiring blog Thoughts on Grace, hosts this wonderful meme each Wednesday. She says, "Deo Gratias is Latin for Thanks be to God. Remembering to give thanks for all of our blessings, big & small, helps us to find God in our everyday moments and gives us an attitude of gratitude!"

Each week, I join Colleen in remembering & sharing the many blessings in my life. This is such a great exercise for me, helping me to focus on the good that truly is happening in my life, no matter how many trials & stresses I may have.
**********
1) After a week of waiting & many phone calls, The Prophet does not have the Mumps! Deo Gratias!

2) I found it's very easy to get up on your high horse only to have God knock you off! I'm thankful for those reminders. Deo Gratias!

3) After a rough start to school this week, I arrived at choir practice last night not fully there mentally. I spent some time in front of the Blessed Sacrament for a bit. That time, along w/ the wonderful music we made, helped lift my spirits. Deo Gratias!

4) I'm grateful for the simple things in life...a fresh pot of coffee each morning, a scented candle, great books to read, music for any mood or occasion. Deo Gratias!

5) We got a little lazy over our break from school, so I made a decision to set my alarm. I wanted to make sure I had my quiet morning time before The Blessings awoke. Surprisingly, I've woken before my alarm each day! Deo Gratias!
