"If the only prayer you ever say in your life is thank you, it will be enough." - Meister Eckhart

Colleen, from her inspiring blog Thoughts on Grace, hosts this wonderful meme each Wednesday. She says, "Deo Gratias is Latin for Thanks be to God. Remembering to give thanks for all of our blessings, big & small, helps us to find God in our everyday moments and gives us an attitude of gratitude!"

Each week, I join Colleen in remembering & sharing the many blessings in my life. This is such a great exercise for me, helping me to focus on the good that truly is happening in my life, no matter how many trials & stresses I may have.

OOPS! I missed last week!

1) Thanksgiving...We had Matt's side of the family here for dinner & had a very nice time. All the food was delicious! Deo Gratias!

2) Singing & Playing my Flute...It's been wonderful to be part of our church choir, sharing the talents God has blessed me with. Deo Gratias!

3) Christmas Shopping...Thanks to Amazon, we have most of the Blessings' Christmas gifts bought! Deo Gratias!

4) Family Bonfires...An annual tradition at my aunt's house, we spent last Sat. evening w/ family. It was great to catch up w/ my cousins (3 out of 4 live out of state) & see all our kids playing together Deo Gratias!

5) More Singing...Monday evening, we joined members of our church to sing Christmas carols at a local nursing home. While some of the residents wanted nothing to do w/ us, many were filled w/ joy! Deo Gratias!
