"If the only prayer you ever say in your life is thank you, it will be enough." - Meister Eckhart

Colleen, from her inspiring blog Thoughts on Grace, hosts this wonderful meme each Wednesday. She says, "Deo Gratias is Latin for Thanks be to God. Remembering to give thanks for all of our blessings, big & small, helps us to find God in our everyday moments and gives us an attitude of gratitude!"

Each week, I join Colleen in remembering & sharing the many blessings in my life. This is such a great exercise for me, helping me to focus on the good that truly is happening in my life, no matter how many trials & stresses I may have.
**********
1) Family Reunions - On Sunday, we had our family reunion for HelpfulGrammy's side of the family. It was a beautiful day...full of food, fun, & catching up w/ relatives we hadn't seen in a while. Deo Gratias!

2) Birthdays - On Monday, The Saint turned six. He's brought so much joy & happiness into our lives in the past six years. Deo Gratias!

3) Mom Therapy - Last Friday, we met my dear friend, her kids, & another homeschooling family at a local park for lunch & fun. As I've said before, this Mom Therapy is so much cheaper & much more helpful than going to a psychologist! Deo Gratias!

4) Movies - Due to the cost & time, Matt & I rarely go to movies, so we usually wait until we can get them at the library. However, this past week, we've made time in the evenings to watch several superhero movies after he's finished studying for the day. Deo Gratias!

5) Dark Chocolate - When I was at the grocery store the other day, I found some interesting flavors of dark chocolate from the Endangered Species line of organic chocolates...Sea Salt w/ Lime cream & Raspberry/Orange Creme. Not only are we eating delicious chocolate, we are helping animals in danger. Deo Gratias!
