"If the only prayer you ever say in your life is thank you, it will be enough." - Meister Eckhart

Colleen, from her inspiring blog Thoughts on Grace, hosts this wonderful meme each Wednesday. She says, "Deo Gratias is Latin for Thanks be to God. Remembering to give thanks for all of our blessings, big & small, helps us to find God in our everyday moments and gives us an attitude of gratitude!"

Each week, I join Colleen in remembering & sharing the many blessings in my life. This is such a great exercise for me, helping me to focus on the good that truly is happening in my life, no matter how many trials & stresses I may have.
**********
1) One week after we celebrated our 16th anniversary, Matt took an overnight trip to Dayton for the IHM Homeschool Conference. WOW! Some great, inspiring talks we heard. Deo Gratias!

2) We missed Mary Ellen Barrett's talk on Friday, but I was able to talk w/ her at the Seton Homeschool table & got some great suggestions from her on helping the Blessings' writing skills. Deo Gratias!

3) I added a couple more books to our Catholic book collection, thanks to their used book sale. I got St. Teresa of Avila: an Extraordinary Life by Shirley du Boulay & Bible History by Ignatius Schuster, D.D. (suggested by Mother of Divine Grace homeschool for 4th grade). Deo Gratias!

4) On Sunday, we went to the Dayton Air Force Museum. It had been a few years since we'd been there & that had been w/ the Blessings. It was nice to walk around at our own pace this time. Deo Gratias!

5) Thankfully, the Blessings were in good hands while we were gone. My parents kept them for us & they all seemed to have a great time. Deo Gratias!

What a wonderful list of blessings! What are the titles of the spiritual books. I'd really like to learn more about the Bible.
