Deo Gratias

"If the only prayer you ever say in your life is thank you, it will be enough." - Meister Eckhart

Colleen, from her inspiring blog Thoughts on Grace, hosts this wonderful meme each Wednesday. She says, "Deo Gratias is Latin for Thanks be to God. Remembering to give thanks for all of our blessings, big & small, helps us to find God in our everyday moments and gives us an attitude of gratitude!"

Each week, I join Colleen in remembering & sharing the many blessings in my life. This is such a great exercise for me, helping me to focus on the good that truly is happening in my life, no matter how many trials & stresses I may have.
**********
1) Friday evening, The Princess & I spent some time together watching one of my favorite movies...Bride and Prejudice. It was her first time seeing the whole thing & she loved it. Deo Gratias!

2) I've been working w/ The Saint on his prayers. He now knows most of The Our Father (just needs a little help remembering a few parts) & he's starting on The Hail Mary. It's wonderful to see him participating at Mass when we pray The Our Father. Deo Gratias!

3) Seasonal creamers have arrived in the stores...White Chocolate Raspberry, Southern Butter Pecan, & Pumpkin Spice. All three are great in pancakes, as well as coffee. YUM! Deo Gratias!

4) Matt's mom brought over a bunch of apples & hickory nuts for us. I've already made seven cups of applesauce & am looking forward to some apple bread & apple crisp. Deo Gratias!

5) The Prophet & The Archangel took a trip w/ Matt's sister last Saturday. While stopped at a restaurant, a woman at a nearby table dropped one of her pills & couldn't find it on the floor. The Prophet jumped up & found it for her. He described her as near HelpfulGrammy's age, so I'm sure he was thinking of what he'd have done if she'd been his grandmother! Deo Gratias!
