Deo Gratias!

"If the only prayer you ever say in your life is thank you, it will be enough." - Meister Eckhart

Colleen, from her inspiring blog Thoughts on Grace, hosts this wonderful meme each Wednesday. She says, "Deo Gratias is Latin for Thanks be to God. Remembering to give thanks for all of our blessings, big & small, helps us to find God in our everyday moments and gives us an attitude of gratitude!"

Each week, I join Colleen in remembering & sharing the many blessings in my life. This is such a great exercise for me, helping me to focus on the good that truly is happening in my life, no matter how many trials & stresses I may have.
**********
1) After Mass on Sunday, we sat in the lower level of our church (while the Blessings were in PSR) & chatted w/ a dear couple. Our conversation stayed w/ me & kept me joyful throughout the day. Deo Gratias!

2) While my SIL is in India for a friend's wedding, Matt's dad has been staying w/ us this week. We, esp. the Blessings, are really enjoying this extra time w/ Grandpa (& he is enjoying all their activities!) Deo Gratias!

3) I'm loving the sparks of color as the leaves are changing. God truly has a marvelous paint palette. Deo Gratias!

4) HandyGramps (living up to his blog name!!!) fixed a couple of our kitchen drawers that have been broken for a LONG time. The front sections had loosened & fallen off. Now we have working drawers again! Deo Gratias!

5) A new family moved into our neighborhood & they have a little boy a year older than The Saint. He's a very sweet, well-mannered boy & all four of our Blessings enjoy playing w/ him. Deo Gratias!

Lovely blessings all of them. A new friend for your son, good chats with a kindred couple, free repairs and more grandpa time are all blessings.
