Light in the Darkness

Welcome to my Light in the Darkness meme! (If you missed my post on the inspiration for this meme, you can read all about it HERE.)

This is the place to share good things that are happening in our world...whether it's a link to a news article/video, something from your personal experience...anything good that can bring light into darkness!

For today, I'm sharing a story of a teacher who's gone above & beyond her teaching duties to help out one of her kindergarteners.

I have a close personal friend who recently got the call that she is a bone marrow match. She is a single mom of three (her husband died when her youngest was a small infant) and one of the hardest working, most dedicated people I know. She often reminds me of how hard I prayed for Shelby and my boys too (she did too!). Did she hesitate when she got the call? Not for a second saying she feels so blessed God chose her. We could use more people like her and this teacher in our world!
