A Thankful Woman's Book of Blessings

My dear blogging friend, Judy, over at A Thankful Woman's Book of Blessings, hosts this meme every Wednesday. Simply list five things (or a prayer or any thoughts) for which you are truly thankful this week. Voicing my thanks helps put my life in perspective & realize that, no matter how bad things might be, there is still MUCH good surrounding me.

1) I'm thankful for clearance items! Casinodad & I lucked into some great toy sales at Kroger last Sunday. They were 75% off & there were for toys that the munchkins really do like, not the cheapy stuff that people skip over.

2) I'm also thankful for the discounted food items at this particular Kroger store. We've found that Sunday's after church are the best times to go. We've gotten many loaves of bread averaging 25 cents each, a package of at least 25 peeled garlic cloves for 99 cents, & so much more!

3) I'm thankful The Prophet & The Princess did well at family choir practice last night. Both of them really enjoy it.

4) I'm thankful for the growth I'm seeing in both older boys regarding the changes to the Mass. Both of them have really expressed an interest in having their own missals to follow along w/ the responses & the readings.

5) I'm thankful for phone calls from dear friends. I was doubly blessed yesterday, as I received calls from two very dear friends I hadn't talked to in a long time & we talked for quite a while.

I like the Christmas colors on your blog. Yes, seeing children engage in religion and want to deepen their spiritual selves is so wonderous.
