A Thankful Woman's Book of Blessings

My dear blogging friend, Judy, over at A Thankful Woman's Book of Blessings, hosts this meme every Wednesday. Simply list five things (or a prayer or any thoughts) for which you are truly thankful this week. Voicing my thanks helps put my life in perspective & realize that, no matter how bad things might be, there is still MUCH good surrounding me.

1) I'm thankful for "Mom Therapy" on Monday...finally, after having cancelled the past couple of weeks!

2) I'm thankful for the way our family handled an incident w/ a neighborhood child last week.

3) I'm thankful for the peace I'm beginning to notice in our family since we've started praying the rosary & other prayers after dinner each night. While we're still not where I'd like us to be, we've definitely come a LONG way.

4) I'm thankful for the growth I'm noticing in The Prophet. He'll be turning 11 next Friday & I've seen so much maturity in him, esp. in the past few days. HelpfulGrammy even noticed & commented on it yesterday.

5) I'm thankful for Judy's I Surrender book & book club/discussion group on Facebook. I'm finding so much support there already & we've just started. It's so comforting to know that I'm not along in many of my own struggles & trials.

Number 3 is so true for us, too! When we are faithful to our family rosary...we notice a real increase of peace in our home:) Good for you on handling what sounds like a sticky situation, well...that's not always easy to do! And, I'm SO glad you are finding comfort and fellowship on our book club page...I am,too!
