Small Successes (2nd post today)

Sherry, at Chocolate for Your Brain, hosts Small Successes each Thursday. Check it out to see others' successes & share your own. Recognizing the small things we accomplish each week helps us realize that even when it doesn't seem like it, we are getting things done!

1) I got out our Halloween/Fall decorations & put them out yesterday...after I cleaned the kitchen!

2) I started running a series of guest posts by HandyGramps here on my blog. He's written up some great explanations for the upcoming changes to the Catholic Mass, so w/ his permission, I'm posting them here for my readers. If you're interested, go to the "Revised Roman Missal" tab in my sidebar under the labels.

3) With the exception of the munchkins' clothes, all laundry I've done this week has been put away on the same day it was washed!

4) With all the hiking, biking, & core muscle exercisin' I've been doing lately, I've lost about 7 pounds in the past month or so! YEA ME!

NEW FEATURE: We are to add a goal for the upcoming week & report the results in the next round of Small Successes.

Last Week's Goal...Catch up on lesson plans for the munchkins. (Mostly succeeded!)

This Week's Goal...Rearrange the living room to get it ready for fall & winter, so that we can use the fireplace w/out being blocked by the couch. Also, do whatever I can to help Casinodad prepare for & pass his insurance test next Tuesday.

Congratuslations on your exercise and loosing weight! That is awesome. I so need to get back into that. And I'll be checking out the posts about the changes to the Mass - can you believe it hasn't been covered at all in our church? (Maybe just because we're in Canada but somehow that doesn't seem right...)
