Revised Roman Missal Series to Begin Here (2nd post today)

I mentioned last week, in my Thankful Woman's Book of Blessings, that HandyGramps put together a series of articles for his church's monthly newsletter regarding the Revised Roman Missal. As I told him in an email after reading them...

"I know a lot of people are in an uproar because things are changing, but the way you've explained everything makes total sense. My basic understanding, originally, was that we were going back to the translations closer to the Latin text & I was just fine w/ that. While that is true though, it is not the whole truth. Your indepth descriptions & details are well written & clear, including a lot of the historical basis for the changes."

I believe the changes will be a great benefit to Catholics in the United States. Many, myself included, have gotten into the rut of just reciting the responses & not really paying attention to what we are saying. Because of the many explanations, HandyGramps & the many to follow within the next few months, we will achieve a greater understanding & be able to more fully participate during each Mass celebration.

With HandyGramps permission, over the next couple weeks, I will be posting his series here on my blog to share w/ all of you. The first will be posted tomorrow. Please feel free to share your thoughts as you read this series.
