Small Successes

Sherry at her blog, Chocolate for Your Brain, hosts Small Successes each Thursday. Check it out to see others' successes & share your own. Recognizing the small things we accomplish each week helps us realize that even when it doesn't seem like it, we are getting things done!

1) I cleaned out The Saint's toy corner in our living room & was ruthless in getting rid of junky & unused toys. He usually plays w/ the other munchkins' toys anyway, so those things I got rid of will never be missed.

2) My kitchen is almost done! This 31 Days to Clean - Having a Martha House the Mary Way. is more like 31 Days to a Clean Kitchen, but I'm very pleased w/ my success so far.

3) This is more the munchkins' success than mine...We had a bunch of errands to run yesterday & all of them were VERY well behaved. Usually, they are misbehaving by the third stop, but yesterday, even after about a 1/2 wait for an oil change, they did VERY well!

Great successes. Especially the running errands. After potty training and bathing, for me, it's the bane of motherhood! And I would think it was a success to not start the misbehaving until the 3rd stop :)

Keep on celebrating! Those are terrific successes. I did the errand running yesterday and man - it's exhausting and I only have 2 kiddos to wrangle!

Great week! Never heard of that book but I just printed the link and put it in my potential gift pile.

#3 is still your success too! Guessing it took a smiling mamma to stretch those errands.
